This is a very unique experience for both children and adults that you won't find in many other establishments.
Our farm park is packed with many different animals, from goats, sheep, and donkeys to aplacas, ferrets, and reptiles, plus many, many more.
This fantastic opportunity provides our visitors with an exciting and fun day out, where they can interact and be hands-on with many different animals and reptiles.
KEEPER FOR THE DAY EXPERIENCE - AGE 8 yrs +
Our minimum age for the Keeper Experience is 8 years old, and all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who must be present on site either in the cafe or on the farm for the duration. (We do have a nice cafe, so it's a chance for parents to sit down, relax, and have a coffee!).
A keeper for the day will gain a variety of skills from cleaning, feeding, and grooming the animals, as well as learning about their origins, habitats, and feeding habits.
If there is a particular animal or reptile that you would like to spend more time with throughout the day, we can arrange this. Remember, this is your day, so we will be guided by you.
A keeper for the day experience costs £110 per person and must be paid for in full at time of booking.
The day consists of the following:
- Minimum age 8
- 10am-3pm
- Free lunch and drink (45 mins)
- Laminated certificate
- Free farm park return voucher
Keeper for the Day is available every weekend during term time or every day during school holidays and is run by our most experienced and knowledgable farm staff, who are very passionate about the animals and love to educate others in a fun and friendly way.
MINI-KEEPER EXPERIENCE - AGE 4 yrs - 8 yrs +
Our minimum age for this experience is 4 years old and all children must be accompanied by an adult who must remain with the child for the duration of the visit.
Tailor-make your Mini-Keeper experience by telling us what your child's favourite animals are, and we will accommodate this to the best of our ability! There will be plenty of time throughout the day for questions and answers and lots of cuddles with the animals.
A Mini-Keeper experience costs £55 per person and must be paid for in full at time of booking.
The day consists of the following:
- Minimum age 2, maximum age 8
- 2 hour sessions - 10am-2pm or 1pm-3pm
- Free lunchbox either before or after your session
- Laminated certificate
- Free farm park return voucher
